Over the past few years, policymakers and experts have expressed their concern about increasing cyber threats to infrastructure, and deliberate attempts to infiltrate in the systems through illegal means to cause disruptions, theft, or damage the information assets. Experts believe the severity and number of cyber-attacks are subject to continuity and elevation over the years to come. The digital world possesses a unique trait of continuous transformation. The benefits of emerging digital technologies have already been substantial but always remain at risks of lurking cyber threats. Reports indicate that the cost of cybercrimes globally stood roughly at $3 trillion in 2015 and is estimated to increase by $6 trillion by the end of 2020. More than 75% of Fortune 500 companies have been subjugated to cyber-attacks already. For a cyber-secured environment, there is dire need of reliable and robust cybersecurity initiatives, underpinned by domain merited professionals.
